Voice lessons

private and semi-private lessons for all ages

With experienced teachers who take the students through the process of developing and strengthening their vocal technique from a classical standpoint and growing their performance repertoire. Our students learn repertoire ranging from musical theatre and classical to contemporary, how to vocally warm up, and how to act and sing on stage with live accompaniment. Students are given multiple performing opportunities both in the studio and recitals where they may perform both solos and duets with their accompanist.

Optimizing Vocal Development

Teachers use live musical accompaniment and classical vocal techniques to improve the overall quality of the voice. Vocal repertoire can be split into 3 categories: music for children, music for pre-teens/teens, and music for adults. The voice is a living and growing instrument so each developing voice will learn age appropriate repertoire that promotes their best sound and technique. Piano is also the foundation to practicing voice away from the lesson. Private piano lessons are encouraged for voice students so that they can progress at a more appropriate pace. We believe that the voice is an instrument and that everyone’s instrument is unique. No matter what level of singing you start at, your voice can improve with individual instruction.
